Australska misteriozna triler drama redatelja i ko-scenarista Kierana Darcya-Smitha kojemu je ovo prvi redateljski dugometražni igrani film. Prethodno je režirao par kratkih filmova, te glumio u mnoštvo naslova, između ostaloga i u hvaljenom Australskom filmu Animal Kingdom. Budžet ovog filma iznosi 2,5 milijuna Australskih$, a jednu od glavnih uloga igra Joel Edgerton kojeg ste nedavno imali prilike vidjeti u filmovima kao što su Warrior i The Thing prequelu. Australska premijera bi se trebala održati do kraja 2011., iako točan datum se još ne zna, a svjetska premijera će se održati u siječnju 2012. na Sundance Film Festivalu. Točnije, Wish You Were Here će otvoriti taj festival.
