Čini se da je Val Kilmer napravio puni krug. Naime od uloge Doc Hollidaya u filmu Tombstone došao je do uloge samog Wyatta Earpa u DTV westernu Wyatt Earp’s Revenge u režiji Michaela Feifera. Doduše, igra samo “ostarjelu” verziju Earpa koja prepričava svoje pustolovine dok mladog Earpa igra Shawn Roberts. A i kad se uzme u obzir da je Tombstone bio visokobudžetni kino spektakl krcat zvijezdama kao što su Kurt Russell, Sam Elliott, Bill Paxton i mnogi drugi, dok je Wyatt Earp’s Revenge tek niskobudžetni DTV/TV film sa budžetom od svega 3 milijuna $, i nije to neki veliki skok za Kilmera. Ali to je Kilmerova sudbina danas. Uglavnom, uz KIlmera i spomenutog Robertsa, u filmu igra i Country pjevač Trace Adkins. Film izlazi direktno na DVD-u 06. ožujka 2012.
