Niskobudžetni akcijski zombie horror redatelja i scenarista Jessea Daytona, radnjom smješten u New Orleans nakon tragedije uzrokovane uraganom Katrine, u kojem je izbila zombie epidemija uzrokovana naravno ljudskom rukom. Unatoč malo budžetu, Zombex sudeći po viđenom u traileru obećava ako ništa dobru zabavu, sa povećim zombie bodycountom i solidnim gore efektima. Jednu od glavnih uloga u filmu igra Malcolm McDowell, a u manjim ulogama se još pojavljuju i Sid Haig, Corey Feldman, te John Doe (da, čovjek se uistinu tako zove lol). Američka premijera filma Zombex je zakazana za 31, listopada 2012.

ZOMBEX tells the story of a post-Katrina New Orleans as it deals with a new disaster, a zombie apocalypse. NOLA residents are no longer experiencing the depression and post-traumatic stress due to the trauma of the hurricane, thanks to the revolutionary ZOMBEX – a rogue, yet, “clinically-proven” anti-depressant pharmaceutical manufactured by a nefarious organization. For those who call the Big Easy their home, everything is just now turning around for them.
