Brutalan i krvav Kanadski horrorac o skupini tinejdžera koje roditelji pošalju u kamp kako bi se tamo naučili stezi i disciplini. Ali nakon što “osoblje” kampa slučajno pojede meso zaraženo virusom, svi redom postanu krvožedni manijaci kanibalističkih sklonosti, a tinejdžeri postanu njihova lovina. Iako je na IMDB-u kao redatelj naveden/a Lulu Jarmen, redatelj filma je zapravo Rob Schmidt, inače potpisnik filma Wrong Turn. Razlog tome je što je 2008. produkcija zapela, i to taman 2 tjedan prije završetka snimanja zbog problema sa budžetom. Schmidt, kao i jedan dio filmske ekipe su tada napustili projekt jer nisu uopće bili plaćeni. Ali film je na kraju ipak završen, no umjesto Schmidta je potpisan/a Lulu Jarmen. Neki izvori doduše navode da je to pseudonim za Schmidta. Bilo kako bilo, Bad Meat je već premijerno prikazan 29. listopada 2011. na FrightFestu u Velikoj Britaniji, a oni koji su ga tamo imali prilike pogledati su ga opisali kao “čudan, krvav i brutalan film prepun gore-a i rigotine”! Ostatak publike će se imati prilike uvjeriti u te tvrdnje 19. veljače 2013. za kada je zakazana Američka (DVD) premijera.
RADNJA
A group of so-called problem teens are sent by their parents to a repressive Boot Camp in the middle of nowhere, in hopes that the strict regime will transform them into youthful model citizens that their parents can be proud of. However, when the kids refuse to play ball, tensions emerge between them as they try to resist the guards’ sadistic methods. Meanwhile, the camp’s down-trodden cook has also tired of the abuse meted out to him by the guards, and fixes them a meal of illegal, diseased meat…as a final ‘screw you!’ before he abandons the camp. But he doesn’t know that the meat is infected with a virus, which instead of simply making the guards ill as he intended, transforms them into flesh-crazed maniacs! If our heroes are to make it to morning and survive the carnage, they must put aside their differences and work together. They’re going to learn the lessons of maturity and responsibility – the hard way…
