Sjebu vas za plaću, sjebu vas za slobodne dane, a očekuju od vas da budete dostupni kad god to njima za treba, i da radite bez obzira na to što vam plaća kasni po 2-3 mjeseca! Ali, biste li bili spremni da ih čak i ubijete zbog toga!? iskreno se nadam da je vaš odgovor negativan. No, to se ne može reći i za junake nezavisne krimi komedije Coffee, Kill Boss redatelja Nathana Marshalla.
Coffee, Kill Boss je film o Henry Woodu, suvlasniku male kompanije Wood & Wood koju je vodio zajedno sa ocem. Ali nakon što je njegov otac umor, Henry je trebalo preuzeti uzde u tvrtci, no to se nije dogodio. Umjesto toga odbor kompanije je donio odluku da privremeni predsjednik bude Walt Ford. Ali kada Forda jedno jutro pronađu mrtvog u njegovom uredu, postavi se pitanje je li riječ o ubojstvu ili samoubojstvu. A odgovor uskoro stigne u obliku još jednog mrtvog člana odbora. Da li je ubojica Henry, ili netko drugi!?

From its humble beginnings as a tannery for hog bellies, the Wood & Wood corporation has evolved into a vast, corrupt modern-day holdings corporation. Lifelong employee and self-described ‘company man’ HENRY WOOD (Eddie Jemison) should have been handed the reins to the company after his father died three months ago, but he was instead passed over by the board for an interim president, WALT FORD (Robert Forster).
Today, top management has gathered at headquarters to await an offer of acquisition that will make them each rich beyond their dreams–and divorce Henry once and for all from the business his grandfather started 80 years earlier.
The day starts badly when Walt Ford is found hanging from a noose in the boardroom. When management elects to ignore the suicide until their deal has closed, the decision sends the entire office into a death spiral of finger pointing, deal-making, prophetic PowerPoint presentations and gruesome murders. Those left alive must work together to find a killer before the killer finds them.
An equal mix of ‘Clue,’ ‘Office Space’ and ‘Ghostbusters’–Coffee, Kill Boss is a comedic-thriller for our times.
