Niskobudžetni akcijski SF trash uradak redatelja i scenarista Chrisa R. Notarilea, inače potpisnika još jednog niskobudžetnog uratka, akcijskog trilera Stand Off. Perfect: Android Rising je radnjom smiješten u budućnost, u vrijeme rata, te govori o ženskom androidu, besprijekornom stroju za ubijanje koji zarobe pripadnici otpora, te ju reprogramiraju da osjeća i misli. Budžet ovoga filma iznosi svega 17 000 $, što ma smještava u oni domenu zaista ultra niskobudžetnih, gotovo amaterskih filmova namijenjenih isključivo onima istančanog filmskog ukusa! Jer budimo realni, ovo nije film za svakoga hehe. Notarile je inače ovaj film napravio na temelju svog kratkometražnog uratka Android iz 2010., proširivši samo scenarij na dugi metar. Internetska premijera (da, dobro ste pročitali, internetska) ovoga filma će se održati 04. listopada 2012., a svega par dana kasnije, 06. listopada film će biti premijerno prikazan u New Yorku.
RADNJA
In the near future, our nation is at war with itself, once again. The United States, on the brink of collapse, transforms into a totalitarian republic. All those who oppose the new Republic are deemed traitors and form the Rebel Resistance.
In an effort to wipe out the rebels, the new Republic authorizes the engineering of the perfect killing machine, an artificially intelligent android soldier named LIA. But while in battle, LIA is captured by the Resistance and reprogrammed to think and feel.
Will LIA switch allegiances, effectively deciding the outcome of this war? Or will she finish her mission and exterminate the Rebel Resistance?
